HDD Truck ID Fleet Hire has equipped a 13 Tonne Hino Truck to be utilised with the 20×22 Horizontal Directional Drill. Our truck comes complete with the MX125 Mixing System installed to the tray bed. In addition ID Fleet Hire is able to also provide the F2 Digitrak Locating System with Sonde. Vermeer D20 x 22 Directional Driller Designed for narrow utility installations to long-range easement work, the D20x22 Series II is manufactured to get the job done. It contains a turbocharged 83 hp Kubota diesel engine that delivers 2200 ft-lb (2983 Nm) of rotational torque and 20,000 lb (89 kN) of thrust/pullback for efficient boring. The D20x22 handles easily with a low profile that increases side hill stability and a footprint measuring just 50×200.5” (127 x 509 cm). It has a comfortable operator’s station featuring drilling function controls integrated into dual joysticks as well as the AutoDrill system. The unit has enhanced visibility while loading/unloading with an optional tethered ground drive controller. The Superior Firestick® drill stem constructed of high carbon alloy steel features one-piece, forged rods that have been heat-treated for uniform strength and consistent quality.
